If he's at 25, can Gettleman pass on DGB?

DUDE he was in the ACC and playing against one of the worst teams in the SEC. You just gave a bunch of excuses. I don't want to hear it. O'Leary and Greene were if not the best TE-WR combo in the NCAA's last year. I'm not sold on Winston, but thanks for taking up for the Bucs future QB. That's real sweet of you.

How are stats an excuse? You give a stat and it's supposed to help your opinion of you not being sold. But I gave the same stat and it's an excuse. And your welcome dog, no problem lmao. I'm just looking at all the stats on a player, regardless of where he MAY end up.

A stat?  You said freshman receivers?  That's an excuse, a stat is me saying he threw like 18 interceptions.  The talent around him is 10X better than any team in the ACC besides Clemson.

Not only can he, but I think DGB will be there at #25 and we will pass on him.  I wouldn't want him in the 1st or 2nd round to be honest.  Just too many concerns.  He won't be there in the 3rd, but that's where I would start to get intrigued about potentially rolling the dice.

The reality is that with the domestic violence concern there, JR likely wouldn't sign off on drafting the guy at all.

18 INT's in college vs the ACC and one SEC team=polished?  f u c k, Case Keenum coming out of college was a damn monster then.

And Matt Ryan threw 19 as a senior in the ACC...your point?

Manning threw 26 his rookie year...your point?

Just because you throw INTS doesn't mean you are not polished.

Manning threw 26 in the NFL.  Winston threw 18 in fuging college.  Matt Ryan threw that many with a total lack of talent around him at BC.  What did anyone expect?

1. Ryan was playing in SAME ACC (an even worse one)

2. Ryan was a SENIOR

3. Ryan was throwing to 3 senior, a JR, and 2 SO...Winston had Greene

4. Winston played a Strength of Schedule that was 3.5x more difficult in 2014 than BC did in 2007

5. Despite that, Ryan's 127 RAT is markedly lower than Winston's 145 RAT...

YET Ryan was considered a very polished QB.

(And keep in mind this doesn't not even take into account Winston's first season...this all passed on their last year at their respective schools.)

1. I don't care if they're all 5 year seniors.  ITS BOSTON fuging COLLEGE, they don't get 5 stars all over the place like Florida State.  I would hope Winston's schedule would be more difficult, hes at Florida State the reigning National Champion.  Winston had Greene and O'Leary mind you.  Both stout guys, better than anyone at BC the year Ryan was there.  Decent stats, but all in all.  The talent level at Florida State is 10X better than the talent level at BC.  It's not a comparison.  Not to mention, Jameis came out as a 5 star, and Ryan wasn't expected to do poo as a 3 star prospect.

You're right, BC doesn't get five star QBs like Winston, who is simply better than any version of college Ryan.

Winston 2014 >>> Ryan 2007

Yet nobody claimed that Ryan was not polished at that staged. Actually it was the exact opposite.

Winston is a very polished QB...unless you don't think Manning or Ryan was polished...and you must think that only 2 QBs in the history of the NFL draft was polished.

Then I can see your thinking.

And LOL adding FSU was the National Champs...all that does is remind everyone of Winston's 2013 season which is not something that helps your "Winston is not a polished QB" assertion...

BTW, yes I am bias...I graduated from FSU in 2008...but my point still stands. There are very few QBs more polished than Winston coming out of college in the history of the NFL draft...that is EVEN if you ignore the 2013 season and focus strictly on 2014.
