Are all the D injuries due too Meek.

Again I just ask if you are running more then tackling and doing contact drills don't your legs seem too be more susceptible too injury. Just on my own bodies mechanics (not claiming too have a top levels athletes body but not bad) when I do more running then anything else. My legs seem too be more susceptible too injuries. Like if I climbing stair after a long run if I'm not careful

and take a wrong step or step wrong my knee hurts or ankles gets a sharp pain. I walk in the Airport all day sometimes if I do alot of work on the treadmill at Peak's I seem too have more trouble doing that then when i weight train. That all I'm saying.

Strenght training is a wonderful thing it builds those muscles and makes one stronger

What it does not do is build flexability and endurance

Those are built through running and drills .

Running builds lung power ,helps players last longer late in games when all those Muscle bound boys are sucking for wind .

You must not have played organized sports

Go F yourself, I didn't say fire the MFer or fire the whole staff.

I've seen post about trading everybody and draft The Golden Calf of Bristol in the 1st round that not stupid.

Or cut this guy and trade for f'n pro bowler that's stupid.

Or we will go 5-11 after 3 preseason games that's stupid.

poo all I ask was could the importance we put on being fast and not having contact drills until Fan fest be a reason for the injuries and poor play.

Dam is it that bad of a question. Most of all our injuries have been on our player legs. Usually when we had injuries it would be a few leg some arm and shoulder and concussion. It's just a f'n question don't post if you feel that way.

All of those true, but saying that the Meeks system is the cause of the current injury rash on Defense is rather humorous and uninformed, while I don't know how Godfrey was injured, I personally saw the Kemo injury and he would have torn his ACL sooner or later with how easily it was torn. And reports have said that the Davis injury was because he was rolled up on in a scrimmage, and Beason was rolled up on in a preseason games.

Getting rolled up on is very common especially for players like Beason and Davis who are in on a lot of tackles, it's just that some times it's more serious then others.

If it had of been a real game, Davis would have been out there on Saturday, and maybe Beason too.

Offense isn't the only side of the team that's holding players out of preseason games to avoid injuries.

what a shameless plug for a thread of yours.. :D

It's Jangler. He's all about himself.

Just gonna put my .02 sense in and say that strength training, believe it or not, can make a person even more susceptible to injury, especially when taken too far. Running, endurance, and agility drills are all about stabilization, which is a major factor in preventing knee or ankle injuries.

Meek's is to blame hunhh.....??

That is like blaming a stray dog you brought home, and let him lay up in bed with you without so much as a bath, flea dip, or anything..... for all the flea bites on your ass and ball sack.

Or...it's the Huddle's fault you think in this manner, and make post such as this.

GTFOH.......:svengo:

Meeks should be blamed for the Defense injuries? Really? I guess you forgot about Trgo then. Remeber the injury season back in '04-'05 where we went 1-7 with Trgo as the DC? I don't know why no one blame him for the injuries. :P

The fact is, injuries will happend to every teams in the NFL. Some will have injuries more than other. It happend & shouldn't be blamed on the DC. Did the Colts has the defense injuries issue like we're having during Meeks's 1st year with them?
