I'm beginning to agree. Maybe the one thing, as a fan base, we have all wanted is actually bad for the team? Free agency may be like heroin and feel great at the moment but later when you wake up in your own piss with a needle sticking out of your arm and your mouth is dried up like your dreams you realize it probably wasn't worth it.

I agree. It usually feels very exciting to make a big purchase, but eventually you have to make payments... I'd rather find cheaper FAs who can get the job done instead of paying inflated salaries which prevent us from taking care of our core players who we know are good.
