Ball control Offense is the D's best weapon right now

Prolly already discussed but that is the ONLY way right now.

Chew up the clock, smash mouth early 90's style football.

Also field postion. Baker and Lloyd are even more crucial now to creating a longer field.

With the lack of depth the D has to stay fresh on the sidelines or they are going to be dragging come the 4th qrtr.

The Panthers run game produces a lot more big plays than the usual top 5 rushing attack and that limits TOP.

if our offense is anything like last year's, we'll be a big-play offense, which isn't overly conducive to grinding/running down the clock.

hardly a complaint though. if the O can focus on scoring points - 3 or 7 - every time they get the ball, i think much of our weaknesses on D will be negated.
