Boykin to Visit per Rapoport

He is just one year removed from a 700 yard season. He made the most of Cobb being hurt in 2013. Last season he fell off the radar behind a healthy Cobb, Nelson, and Adams. Who wouldn't?

I think he would be a good contributor for us. That highlight video shows he plays smart, always knowing where the sticks and endzone are. Signing him won't hurt...could potentially be a big upgrade.

Watching the "it's just March!" Crowd predictably start to sweat come July is one of the most revealing moments of the Huddle year.

And watching the "the sky is falling in March" crowd lose their collective minds is the best show in town.

I want all these guys signed just to watch you and others completely melt down.

One of the biggest reasons I read more than I post on this forum, it's just downright entertaining to watch the knee jerk, Chicken Little reactionaries, bitch and moan like a little drama queens.

 Yep.

A bunch of 17 yo's who know nothing about building a team, coaching a team, or running a business...yet they think they know more than guys who are paid millions of dollars a year because of their experience and knowledge.

Maybe it has something to do with a generation that expects instant gratification in every facet of their lives?

But the Oxford dictionary of Armchair Football GMs defines a WR2 as "someone who has run sub a 4.4 40yd at some point in their career". Gettleman has NO IDEA what he's doing if he doesn't understand this.

The fact that Boykin had almost 700 yards in starting only 8 games in 2013 discredits that entire post.

Which is why I wouldn't be against us signing him and I don't see why people would be against us signing him. He got beat out by Adams who was a second round pick and a good wide receiver. So he isn't as good as Adams who could be a #2 WR on almost any team. Boykin had a solid year in 2013 and would be an instant upgrade over Cotchery and will probably be cheap. He may not be a #2 WR but he could be a solid 3-4 WR. At the end of the day would you want Cotchery or Cotchery and Boykin going into training camp?

Also what if we end up not drafting a WR in the first 4 rounds? We would still have Boykin who could be a stop gap #2 WR and while that isn't good it's better than having Cotchery again as our #2. If we do end up drafting a WR then he will offer competition and leadership and our WR corp would be pretty good. If someone goes down he could fill in.

This was said last year and look what happened during the season.

What I saw was a team, The fought through injury and adversity, And got hot at the right time,

about the time a few Gman accuired rookies came into their own.

Won NFC south, wild card game, and gave the super bowl runners up all they could handle for most of the game.

Well let see.

Philly Brown was showing out last yr

Ginn is back and had a career year here.

Looks like a stretched field to me.

Please god let us not have to depend on fragile Philly and Ginn to double a career year..

Or better yet we can just get more talented WR..

Has it really gotten that bad that we don't know what good WR'S look like anymore??

Ginn nor Philly are starting WR on any other team but here... That's not a good thing..
