You can almost guarantee that Rivera talks to love smith about collins before thinking about signing him, find out the story of what went wrong there

I didn't think Lovie and Rivera had the best relationship?  Like, not at all.  Didn't Lovie fire Rivera because he was butthurt that Rivera was interviewing for HC jobs?

Even if they had a GREAT relationship, why would Lovie be willing to share information with a division rival and why would Rivera trust what he was saying since the info would be coming from a fellow NFCS HC?

Isn't this one of the guys gettledouche was an idiot for not signing last year?

Well, yes and no. Many wanted to see anyone protect Cam's blindside other than Bryon fuging Bell, and they were right to be concerned. If you recall Cam played hurt the entire year and took way too many hits yet again. Wanting to protect your franchise QB should be a priority especially when you know he won't be as mobile the next season. We could have overpaid, and he would have protected Cam better, but we would have overpaid. Anyway you look at it we really took a gamble with our franchise QB last season, and that's inarguable.

Now the guys that "gettlecouche" was an idiot for signing, as many said so was Cason, Decoud, Avant, and to some extent Cotchery, Dickson, and even Harper. It wasn't "Gettlemagic" last year as it was in 2013 with our FA signings, and the only reason we made it to the playoffs was because we cut the atrocious signings halfway into the season and started playing his very good rookie draft picks.

This forum is so black and white, it's like politics.

How much is Bell counting against our cap right now? How much dead money did the Bucs just eat? That is why we did what we did.

Other problem with this is we gambled with our franchise QB to save cap room. It has worked out, but at the same time it was a gamble.
