contract data for the team, for what it's worth.

nate salley gets $1mil. that would help quite a bit. we have options that are cheaper and better here already....not that it would take much.

jarrett and ryne robinson would be top of my list from the offense at the moment. i'm not seeing any immediate benefit to them being on the team when we have just as good options available who come at a much lower price tag. it wouldn't save us millions but it would help.

jarrett would probably excel somewhere else but i wouldn't care. he isn't doing it here so he's a waste of space if he isn't reaching his potential here.

landon johnson is the one i would most like to get rid of but we are stuck with him this year. the cap hit this year would be $2.1mil with or without him actually on the roster. he'd better get healthy and play the whole season.

for sure, not getting that extension worked out with peppers before the deadline is hurting us in a big way now.

Nice. Thanks

Question:

We have three TE's. Do we keep all three or dump one?

I think we will keep all 3 and use or keep less WR.

Two of our TE's can play as a WR better than our 3rd 4th or 5ths as of right now IMO.

They also all three play on special teams, and do a decent job there.

Big difference in the defenses they were facing...Jake is looking at probably the scariest man in the NFL...Josh was not

I thought Josh finished the drive that scored the TD against their 1st team. Either way, IMO, Joshs' passes were more sharp than JD. He is much more mobile than JD and if JD isn't careful and plays poorly early on, watch for Josh to come in. Even though the Coaching staff has said Jake is our guy, that shouldn't stop the Coach from pulling him. Look at last year with McNabb when Reid pulled him. It was a message to Mcnabb to tighten up and the very next game and for the rest of the year, McNabb was on fire.
