Former Broncos and Patriots QB The Golden Calf of Bristol is working out today for the Philadelphia Eagles.

So if Philadelphia decides to sign The Golden Calf of Bristol, he would be reunited with Mark Sanchez.

The Golden Calf of Bristol, 27, has reportedly been working on revamping his throwing motion in the hope of getting another shot in the NFL.

The Broncos used the No. 25 overall pick on The Golden Calf of Bristol back in 2010. He lasted just two years with the team before he was traded to the Jets. The Patriots brought him in for the 2013 training camp, but he was among their final roster cuts.

He last appeared in an NFL game during the 2012 season when he completed six of eight passing attempts for 39 yards to go along with 32 rush attempts for 102 yards and no touchdowns.

UPDATE..............................................................................................................................................................................

The Cowboys are negotiating a contract with free agent DE Greg Hardy.

Jason La Canfora “took the temperature” of some teams this past weekend and he came away with the Cowboys and Seahawks as the two teams who could emerge as serious suitors for Hardy.
La Canfora adds that it would still be surprising to see a team sign him before the NFL has ruled on potential discipline pertaining to his domestic violence incident.

Teams around the league Still believe there’s a “good chance” Hardy will be suspended for the first six games of the season.

The NFL continues to delay a ruling regarding his involvement in a domestic violence incident that was eventually settled out of court.

The league will once again review the agreement today, which means there may not be an announcement until Wednesday.

Hardy, 26, wound up appearing in just one game and recorded four tackles, one sack, and a forced fumble before he was placed on the commissioners expect list.

Last year, the Panthers used their franchise tag on the defensive end, which paid him a salary of $13.116 million for the 2014 season. However, all indications are that Carolina has moved on and he won’t be back with the team.

NFL Notes: NFLPA, Jameis Winston, Ray McDonald, Browns, & Cowboys

NFLPA
Incumbent NFLPA DeMaurice Smith was his re-election bid with a unanimous decision last night.
He was challenged by eight other candidates.

Jameis Winston
Florida State QB Jameis Winston is saying He isn’t planning on attending the 2015 NFL Draft in Chicago, and will instead be staying home with his family.

Ray McDonald
Free agent DL Ray McDonald discussed why his lawsuit against the women who accused him of rape was so important.

“I feel like what I am doing is the right thing because I know that I am not this bad person that people are making me out to be. I’ve been fired from my job. I know some teams don’t even want to talk to me because of this past accusation. All I am trying to do is clear my name and move on with my life.”

Browns
The Brown didn’t just use a first-round pick on RB Trent Richardson a few years ago. They traded a package that included a fourth, fifth, and seventh-round pick to the Vikings to move up one spot to get the Alabama running back.

had they remained where they were and bypassed Richardson, they were players like Luke Kuechly, WR Jairus Wright, RB Alfred Morris and either K Justin Tucker or LB Vontaze Burfict all available to them.

The Browns managed to get trade Richardson to the Colts and recoup an first-round pick for him, which looks like a brilliant move in hindsight, as Indy cut him loose last week. Although, that first-round pick became QB Johnny Manziel and the jury’s still out on whether or not he’ll be an asset for them.

Cowboys
Cowboys had a “soft limit” of $5 million annually in regards to a salary for DeMarco Murray.
Dallas “never thought” about matching the Eagles’ offer for Murray.
