NFL Free Agency Update Thread

I wonder if Getts could get a guy like Nicks or Crabtree on a 1 year, $2-3m prove it deal next week.

The way things have been going, I could read a story that someone offered Nicks a two year seal at six million a season and I wouldn't be surprised.

regarding the Britt deal, it's only $4.3M in guaranteed money, and often times reported guarantees are not fully guaranteed. Teams are only stuck having to pay the guaranteed money. They can always get off the hook for the rest by cutting the player (due to injury, underperformance, or just to save cap space). Plus, until the details come out, you don't know how much of that extra money Britt can earn is based on incentives (1,000 yard season, Pro Bowl, etc)

I'm hearing there might actually be something to the rumors

the # Chargers are looking in to Greg Hardy. Not sure how I feel

about that one.

If Greg Hardy to the # Chargers is true, that would be absolutely

nuts!

Greg Hardy would be HUGE for the chargers , just think about it,

Ingram, Attaochu, Liuget, and Hardy ? boy ol' boy.

Couple of tidbits on Britt's deal:

Kenny Britt's deal with the Rams is for two years, as @RapSheet said, but he can void it after one, based on performance.

So Britt can be a FA again in '16. If he is, that means he had a good year. He'd be free at 27, so still young enough to sign long-term deal
