NFL Notes: Andre Johnson, Colts, Dolphins, Ravens, & Titans

Andre Johnson
WR Andre Johnson receives $10 million guaranteed in his three-year, $21 million deal with the Colts.

Johnson’s $10 million in guarantees breaks down to a $4 million roster bonus paid out on March 24, $3.5 million base salary (2015) and a $2.5 million roster bonus that’s due on the fifth day of 2016 league year.
Johnson will have cap figures of $7.5M (2015), $7.5M (2016), and $6M (2017).

Colts
Colts could still make a moves on the defensive end of the ball, it seems safe to say they will go “defense heavy” in draft.

Dolphins
The Dolphins and P Brandon Fields have reportedly agreed to a restructured contract that will keep him in Miami.

Ravens
Ravens remain in talks with free agent RB Justin Forsett in recent days.
veteran receivers like Dwayne Bowe and Stevie Johnson could be options for the Ravens in the coming week.

Titans
Regarding the Titans’ interest in Oregon QB Marcus Martiota, Do not minimize Tennessee’s interest. They are very serious here.“
free agent OLB Brian Orakpo is still in Tennessee and has not set a confirmed date to meet with the Cardinals.

PFT reporting there is the possibility that Max Unger might not pass his physical in New Orleans.

If that happens and the Graham trade is voided, this offseason could get even more entertaining than it already has been

an ex-Duck not passing his physical? Isn't that Chip Kelly bingo?

Free agent DT Vince Wilfork has three offers from AFC teams that would pay him $10 million over the course of two years on the table right now.

The 33-year-old registered 516 combined tackles, 16 sacks, four forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries and three interceptions through 11 seasons with the Patriots.

There are a number of AFC teams that would make sense for Wilfork including the Texans, Colts, and possibly the Ravens.

Saints Making A "Major Push" To Sign CB Brandon Browner

Saints made a “major push” to sign free agent CB Brandon Browner on Wednesday, which included making him an offer that would pay him $5 million per year.

Browner, 30, had two years remaining on his three-year, $15.15 million contract, which includes base salaries of $1.9 million in 2015 and 2016, but it all came down to his option and the fact that he would have counted $4.8 million against the team’s cap in 2015.

New England freed up $4.8 million in available cap space by declining Browner’s option.

Last year, Browner appeared in nine games for the Patriots and recorded 25 tackles, one interception and six pass defenses.

Lol at the Saints still trying to sign larger names.

This, this right here, is why you don't chase after the big names in FA.

afternoon.

Eagles - Murray discussions have heated up significantly

today. Bradford, by the way, was a Murray college roommate

at Oklahoma.

Sources tell me Eagles are now "very much" in play in the

DeMarco Murray chase. Could be a Dallas-Philly showdown

I'm told that before signing anything in PHILA, the Cowboys

could have an opportunity to make another offer to Demarco

Murray.

Quick update on the DeMarco Murray sweepstakes. I'm told a

Cowboys' late push has included calls/texts from key players/

coaches
