Saints are now “in the mix” for free agent RB C.J. Spiller, with the Cowboys

New Orleans has shed some cap space through several moves, so Spiller could serve as a nice complement to RB Mark Ingram.

Spiller, 27, finished out his five-year, $25,672,087 rookie contract with the Bills that included $11,854,169 guaranteed

In 2014, Spiller was limited to appearing in nine games and rushing for 300 yards on 78 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 19 receptions for 125 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Update: Dolphins Not Conceding Loss Of TE Charles Clay, Browns Also Involved

It has been widely reported that the Bills are considered the front-runners to land TE Charles Clay.

However, that the Dolphins are not “conceding” and the Browns remain a “wild card.”

Clay, 25, caught 58 passes for 605 yards receiving and three touchdowns over the course of 14 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 tight end out of 67 qualifying players

Rams Expected To Re-Sign WR Kenny Britt

Britt reportedly has interest from other teams as well that were considering him as a second choice or backup plan at receiver.
Britt put together a solid first year with the Rams and has said previously that he would like to be back with the team for the 2015 season.

Britt, 26, wound up signing a one-year, $1,400,000 contract with the Rams that included just $550,000 guaranteed after a disappointing end to his time with the Titans.

He’s one of the best remaining options at receiver, so it will be interesting to see who else is considering him.

In 2014, Britt appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and caught 48 passes for 748 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 36 receiver out of 110 qualifying players this past season.

Free Agent S Chris Conte Expected To Sign With The Buccaneers

Buccaneers are expected to sign former Bears S Chris Conte.

parties are working on the contract now.
Conte, and possibly former teammate S Major Wright, is reuniting with former Head Coach Lovie Smith.

Conte, 26, is a former third round pick of the Bears back in 2011, so Lovie Smith is obviously very familiar with him as a player. He played out his four-year, $2,603,600 rookie contract and could end up securing a pay raise when all is said in done despite some shaky play.

In 2014, Conte appeared in 12 games and recorded 43 tackles, three interceptions, and three pass defenses for the Bears. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 63 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

poor Houston fans:

-Hoyer is not good. Instead of wasting money on a QB who I believe will do nothing for us, they could have used that money to improve other positions. I haven't given up on Mallet yet either, and Hoyer would be a great backup QB, but we made this signing hoping for more I assume and I think it sucks.

-Matt Schaub would've been a better addition.

-I rather sign Locker than Hoyer tbh...

-Id rather keep Fitpatrick than sign Hoyer..

-i can't wait to buy Hoyer's jersey, PM me when it's out!

-I don't understand the logic in replacing Fitzpatrick with Hoyer (if we are trying to get rid of Fitzpatrick). Fitzpatrick thoroughly outplayed Hoyer last year.

-The Texans to sign Hoyer...This sucks. They Texans organization thinks that if they sign someone for QB, no matter how good or bad he is, that they think the fans will think that they're improving the team, or at least trying to, even though they're not. These are pointless signings.

-Matt Thompson is killing the Texans for picking up Hoyer and giving him the contract that we did.

etc
