NFL Free Agency Update Thread

Just don't know what to make of it all and the starting offensive group seriously does look like a bad fantasy football lineup. Whatever he is doing is not making much sense to me at the moment but check back after the dust settles.

There is still plenty of time.

Chip's playing Uno while everyone else is playing checkers.

The Rams have reached out to free agent DT Nick Fairley,

Fairley has visited with the Bengals in recent days, but it would not be surprising to see more teams get involved.

Detroit was in negotiations with Fairley’s agent on Tuesday, but they couldn’t come to an agreement on terms.

Vikings, Saints, Steelers, Panthers, & Dolphins Have Shown Interest In CB Patrick Robinson

CB Patrick Robinson has received “some” interest from the Vikings, Saints, Steelers, Panthers, and Dolphins.

Robinson, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Saints back in 2010. He’s played out his five-year, $9,409,500 contract that included $6,085,000 guaranteed.

In 2014, Robinson appeared in 14 games for the Saints and recorded 39 tackles, two interceptions, and 11 pass defenses for the Saints’ defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No 40 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

Thanks for doing this.

Depends on how you look at it. McCoy is big money. They turned him into kiko and maxwell. Kiko could be as good for them as Luke is to us. And they desperately needed help on the back end D. I'd value MLB and CB over RB personally.

Foles verses a healthy Bradford is no contest. While its a huge gamble because of the injury history but a QB with prospects like Bradford aren't just available. Foles was solid for them but how much of that was Kelly? I'll give Kelly the benefit of the doubt when it comes to who he wants playing QB.

I'm not saying he's buying low to save, but if a player like Alonzo was healthy and for some reason a UFA he'd command a top salary. Kelly is gambling, but I think these moves could work out for them.

That was a nice way Kelly put it, Kiko and Maxwell for McCoy. But what if he said Bradford for McCoy instead? They are paying Bradford more than McCoy.

I'm also not buying Bradford is better than Foles either. Forget the fact he has missed like 31 games in 5 years and has an 18-30 record as a starter and has one of the lowest career YPA's ever, so yeah, he's going to look more accurate throwing shorter passes. I had to chuckle when Chip called him big and strong. He has to be the frailest 240 pounder I've ever seen.

Or maybe the practices prepare and condition them better for the game and decrease/eliminate their injuries?

The way we practiced last year with those gps monitors did.

Rumors I heard were Chip's way wore the players down too much before the games. Vets didn't like it, and Chip's housecleaning began.

That was something that I expected.
