Sam Bradford + picks traded to Philly for Nick Foles

I am glad we aren't making any of these psycho trades.  Most of them smack of desperation.  Seattle makes a bit of sense for getting Graham, but if he doesn't develope chemistry with Wilson and company, they gave up a probowl center (albeit an often injured one) and a first.

They traded number one picks and a conditional 2016 pick from the Iggles. So as it stands the Iggles have the 10th pick. Much easier to move up from 10 than 20.

 

They didn't swap firsts.

Man, and you guys wanted to bring Chip Kelly here as our next coach. Guy would have ran our organization into the ground with his experiments, and he would have traded away Cam by the way.

I'm thinking Chip has been talking to some team in the top 6 picks and that they'd rather have Bradford than Foles in a trade letting the Eagles move up to get Mariota. Otherwise I truly don't understand what Chip was thinking on this trade.

The only thing that I can think of is that Pat Shumur was also the OC in STL the year they drafted him, the year he was ROY.

But that was along time ago. He was injury prone in college and it's proving the same in the Pro's.

 

I really don't see the value in trading up for Mariotta here using Sam. Why not just draft Marcus themselves.
