Saints deal TE Jimmy Graham to Seahawks

The Saints are very smart doing this move. Clears cap later, allows them an extra pick to retool, and speeds up the rebuilding process that we all know they're going through.

Bad news for the Panthers on both sides. I would rather see Graham on a team that won't win anything.

Look at how it's done folks. Big FA signings, big trades. This is how you rise to the top. We want to follow Seattle's lead on the field but are too scared to imitate them off of it because we can't accept that it isn't 2002 anymore.

Their ability to build thru the draft is exactly why they are able to do moves like this.

LMAO

Saints are done. That's easy to see.

And Seattle got a once good TE who is now soft, and lost their best OL along with losing another starting OL to the Jets (Carpenter)

Real talk though, good luck trying to sign Wilson and all your other players with no money.

Both teams lose. Panthers win.

Unger was their best OL. Their OL went from only slightly stronger than ours to much weaker. And they lost their 1st.

First of all, it's only a 31st draft pick. Secondly, I have no doubt they have a plan for their center situation. Graham gives Wilson a legit go-to everydown TE and a redzone beast. It's going to be damn near impossible to stop them in the redzone. Wilson's threat to pass and run, Lynch in the backfield, and now a 6'7 beast TE who you can just throw it up to. Scary.
