Goodson looking a little like Smith

I just wanted to get off all the negative crap today. I thought that Goodson did a very good job in the return game and on that one pass on the sidelines I swear he looked like Steve Smith catching that ball and getting both feet in bounds. I know many of us thought perhaps Robinson could be our next Steve Smith but I think it will be Goodson. He looked very good as a receiver last night and was good after the catch. With a few years experience and Smith perhaps mentoring him, who knows the potential. I wasn't really sold on him when we picked him up in the fourth, but the more I see, the more I think he is special.

Just wanted to say that.

Our next Steve Smith is Steve Smith. There is only one player like Steve in the entire league. Goodson was good, not great last night. If he's not bouncing a run to the outside, he's going nowhere. he reminds me of Reggie Bush quite frankly, and that might just be what he turns out to be. That fast RB that can do it all, but be a great RB

I'm pretty sure he had some runs between the tackles that were alright.

Also like Rucker said that was a great play by Goodson to make that catch definitely a move you expect from a veteran and not so much from a rookie. It's just to bad he got out of bounds and caused a penalty.

Goodson has some good runs right up the middle and his receiving skills right now are as good or better than Bush's. Don't know who you were watching last night but Goodson is the real deal. And Steve Smith will retire in the next 3-4 years so we need to be grroming a replacement. As for being a Reggie Bush, for a fourth rounder and being pretty darn cheap, that would be fine. Bush isn't a bad player he is simply not worth a number 2 pick and 52 million bucks.

Goodson is an absolute workhorse. He's a kid that is a threat to bust a big play everytime he touches the rock. I agree that he can fit the jack-of-all-trades role that Reggie Bush has, but to be honest I think he looks more promising than Bush ever did. In this offense, with the O-line we have, he could do some great things as a third back/fourth receiver. I'm just hoping Davidson figures out how to get him on the field and use him.
