Vince Young turned away from veteran combine

I'm kinda surprised to hear of them telling someone they can't come.

 

I was always under the impression that it was a fairly 'open door' thing.

 

Guess not.

 

 

Maybe in the mean time the NFL discovered something that we don't know about?

 

Its not as if VY has always been the most stable of characters.

I really think it is odd. I'm not a Young fan but I really think this is not fair. All these boneheads that get countless chances in the league and he doesn't. I really believe he was black balled out the league because of Jeff Fischer.

I would love to see him get back into the league. There are lots of guys that fight for late career redemption. Kerry Collins, Luke Mccown, and Mike Mamulla come to mind.

Man, I feel bad for VY. I still think he got a raw deal from Fisher (who is an asshole), and it pretty much all went downhill from there. I also suspect that he has been sort of blackballed as a result of the stuff that happened at the end of his tenure in Tennessee. Yeah, he got a few more opportunities but it seems like he was fighting an uphill battle at each one.

He's good enough to be an NFL QB.

Considering his off-field issues, this is not a good deal.
