This offseason has been great.  Stability is the key to success and it seems the majority of the NFL is in complete flux right now.  Every time I see a marginally good player sign for 50+ million I get a little happier, every rumor of turmoil brightens my day.

 

Seeing the posters on Falcon boards going crazy because they haven't even been linked to a good rumor was been delicious. They went more panic mode than our own trolls and now they've moved on to quiet acceptance that they are more cleaning house and rebuilding than challenging for the playoffs.

 

Their tears taste soooooo sweet.

GM says nah.

 

Of course, that is what a GM would say if fielding offers for his starting QB, so I will play the conspiracy card and say this means nothing, just for the sake of speculation.  The leak would come from other teams, not SF. 

 

The trade makes sense from the SF perspective.  Kaepernick has a good line and had decent WRs.  His coach is gone.

 

The problem with the rumor is John Fox.  I do not see him going for a Kaepernick.  Not his style of QB, assuming he has one.  Can you imagine transitioning from Peyton to Colin?  That is about 50 NFL IQ points.
