Some stats and numbers that show Gettleman is wrong for not pursuing a top flight WR.

Why are people freaking out about not signing free agents when the free agent signing period has not started? The only signings that could possibly have happened already are trades or players resigning with their old teams. Unless the player was cut.

Everyone should just stfu until Tuesday afternoon.

Mike Wallace- Miami Dolphins

2013- 930 rec yds, 5 TDs

2014- 860 rec yds, 10 10 TDs

yes, for the very reasonable price of only $60 million you can have a guy that gives you around 900 yards a season

OR

Kelvin Benjamin, 2014-15: 84 receptions, 1116 yards, 11 TDs

1.4 million cap hit

I don't get freaking out in general over anything football, but I am kind of miffed as to why people keep acting like free agency starts Tuesday. That's but a formality and a technicality. Saturday was the unofficial start, and within 48 hours, the top talent was mostly spoken for.

Don't get me wrong. I never expected any of these guys. Any! But let's not pretend like no movement is going on in order to tell people how crazy they are for reacting to all of this unexpected and decidedly sudden news.

Shut up with the stats and realize that next season Cam, Keuk, Davis are all free agents and we are gonna have Raider-like cap room with guys like Demaryius Thomas as free agents. Consider the Broncos trying to resign Thomas with Brock Osweiller as his QB. OR...he could come play with Cam. Just be patient.

Free Agency does not start until Tuesday, regardless of what you have heard or may think. Teams could talk to free agents, but could not sign anyone, nor are they obligated to tell everyone every person they talk to. And given that people have been bitching about not signing anyone for about 2 or 3 weeks now, I believe my argument is valid.

Patience is a virtue, and not bitching about things that can't possibly have happened is what is known as common sense. People will live longer if they stop freaking out about things that are not even possible when they are bitching about it.

Reason those teams failed is that they overspent on those players. So you want us to overspend for the same said players that may cause problems not only signing cam, luke, and other guys long term already on the roster but also make it that we will have holes at other positions THIS year as well? Fill a wr hole with a deep contract then you have a hole at oline or safety, then we give up points in the backend and maybe cam doesn't have time to find that wr, then we are losing just like those teams did last year.

PanthersUnited think in terms of Madden NFL with Monopoly money.

Ok, maybe im just bad at math but how does a 40 plus mill contract at 7 or 8 mill a year break the bank and make us nit able to sign Cam or Keek?' Keep in mind, i am NOT advocating paying 80-100 mill for one player, the Phins went full retard. Paying that money for Suh.

All Im saying is a 7-8 million a year for a WR like Torrey Smith isnt something thats going to set your franchise back, its a very reasonable price

If somebody offered to sell me his $300,000 Lamborghini for $100,000, guess what? I'd still have to say no.

And it wouldn't be because I didn't want the Lambo.

Ok, and signs point to us drafting D line or O line. Who is left in FA that fits that mold? Maclin is gone, Torrey is gone, Cobbis gone, who else?

Prior to last season I did research that showed that the average draft position of all the league's starting WRs was bottom of the 2nd round to top of the 3rd.
