Some stats and numbers that show Gettleman is wrong for not pursuing a top flight WR.

Yes, those teams sucked but thats not the point. The WRs that got paid that I listed did their part and put up the stats they needed to, not their fault the rest of the team is poorly run. Imagine if we had a Desean Jackson. Vincemt Jackson or Emmanuel Sanders?!

Correct. Their teams are poorly run.

Gee i wonder why that happens.

i wonder why The Teams That Over Paid for One big Name FA (At other positions too, not just WR) seem to Consistently Miss The Playoffs.

It's a mystery.

Also keep in mind that Desean Jackson. Vincent Jackson and Eric Decker didnt have QBs worth a damn, look at Emmanuel Sanders and Steve Smith, they had franchise QBs and hence they made the playoffs. I guarantee if we had Vjax, Djax or emmanuel sanders. We have a winning record last season

You realize the game isn't won by comparing stats, right?

Nobody gives a rip about stats if you don't win games.

You're suggesting we follow examples that have been set by losing teams and apparently the problem with this suggestion doesn't seem to register with you.

This is like saying "Hey guys, we could be contenders every year if we'd just run our team like the Raiders do"

You seriously need to rethink your ideas here.

We were in no position to offer those players big money. Passing out big contracts is the very reason we were in cap hell and in a playoff drought.

Not a mystery at all, the answer is simple. NO QB!! Vjax, Djax, Eric Deker ALL on teams with terrible QB situation. Emmanule Sanders and Steve Smith both had franchise QBs. As far as the Dolphins, jury is out on Tannehill being a TRUE franchise QB.

You are implying those teams sucked because they overpaid for the WRs when infact its simply because they have no QB worth a damn.

When you have a franchise QB, (like we do) THATS precisely the time you pay big bucks for legit WR.
