The way I see it is he is older yes, but he split his carries most of his career so there has got to be some good tread on the tires.

Plus he was a product of Shula's offense.

The only real valid concern is that he has had some injuriy issues.

If I were a team in need of a Arab, DWILL is/was good, proven, is not a head case of an off the field concern.

I'd roll the dice early on him.

Just couldn't leave gracefully could you? Had to get pissy and whine on TV about how unfair it all is because Hurney's not here anymore to push around.

He was not even listed on the top 50 free agent running backs on NFL.com.

 

Probably because he isn't technically a FA yet. If it wasn't for his mouth we still wouldn't be sure what was going on with him, even if the writing was on the wall.

 

Last thing Gman said publically about 34 was that they had a great meeting.
