Isn't CJ from the Miami area? They are loaded with gangs, but obviously they arent limited to big cities either. Just a guess... My hope was that it was some jealous guys that wanted to rob him or something of that nature, but considering they didnt follow up the shooting with a robbery, it suggests to me that it was either retaliation or gang-related.

That's the type of thing that happens when you hang around with shady people, in shady neighborhoods, at 4am.

I feel sorry for children when they get burnt touching hot things because they don't know any better. I find it difficult to feel sorry for adults who know better.

Sometimes it's the family member that's the target. One of Chris' brothers or cousins could be acting like he's a baller and gotten into some shady stuff with the wrong people and Chris wouldn't bail him out, so the brother or cousin needed to be made an example of by those shady people.

 

Or they could have simply gotten a hooker, had their fun, and then not paid her, with her pimp trying to make them pay and things getting way overboard.

I'm not claiming to know how he lives his life, just that there's a reason he was in a car at that place at that time, and there is also a reason that car was targeted for a shooting. those reasons, are at least in part, due to his choices. hence, 'guys like CJ'
