Sarcasm. I said I believe Cobb was not worth $10 mil a season, and that he only had one great year...obviously Aaron Rodgers is an elite QB if not the best in the game, which further strengthens my argument that Cobb is not worth that money anywhere else, as Rodgers makes his receivers.

 

It wouldn't make sense if the "above average QB" comment was not sarcastic being that I said Cobb was overpaid.

I think its a good deal for both parties. that team will always be top five as long as they have rodgers and his weapons. might as well keep the crew together.. Cobb is a dynamic player and only 24?  G damn man not a bad signing IMO. Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Rodgers..   that's an elite corps and worth the money IMO

Nothing crazy about it. It's par for the course each year. If you want to be a consistent contender, you've got to be willing to pay for good players. Good players cost money.
