Sounds about right.

 

It's also a fuging embarrassment that a Ravens beat writer breaks more Panthers news than anyone else.  Dude should put together a list of his scoops over the recent years and send it to a local rag and start moonlighting for them.  He already provides more than any of the Panthers beat writers.

Based on this structure.

2015 cap hit should be $2.5m with 2016 being the remaining $4.5m. That is, unless DG added dummy years (a la Cotchery) in order to amortize the signing bonus over a larger period.

Don't like that 2.5m guaranteed next year, will still cost us a fair amount to cut him if he turns out to be poo. But that's the nature of FA I guess.
