I always liked Matt Moore as a number 2 QB and thought  he had certain skills he just seemed to take a step backwards, if he had to be a a long term starter.

Matt Moore could not handle the pressure of starting in Charlotte, North Carolina. Have fun in NYC buddy.

I always find it interesting when people assume a positive connection between former players and coaches. Bowles was a defensive guy in Miami, maybe he hated Matt Moore's guts. We don't know.

Couldn't handle the pressure? I disagree. He was not given a fair shot at all. Fox was looking for any excuse to pull him and didn't give him any room to grow. All because he didn't act like the Rajun Cajun. Seriously he was better than Clausen and better than Jake the day he first came to Charlotte. If Fox put Moore in for Jake in the 08 playoffs we very well still win that game. He has never been given any faith because he wasn't drafted. That's been his issue his whole career. Not trying to go TRD on you guys but the guy is a good QB.

interesting how many people on here seem to make that claim. kind of like 70% of people think they're above average.

Not me. I've been in more fights than I can count. I've lost as many as I've won. I do have an iron chin though.

My strength is that I don't get all startled when I actually take a punch. A lot of people talk a good game and then the throws start coming and it's over.
