It depends on the person and the context. If it's something that could harm them or others and it seems like they are going the wrong way i will say something.

If my advice could help them but i was not asked and them falling on their face could be the better teacher, i will keep quiet.

I generally live my life by making decisions based solely off of unsolicited advice from strangers.

I have yes... Usually when its a young guy that says "hey, I'm getting married..."

I'll say something like... "Ooh yeah, don't do that."
