Report: Colts Emerging as Top Suitor for Ndamukong Suh, Greg Hardy

Pure speculation.

You know this report is full of BS when it started talking about the reason why they want to go to the Colts is because of the QB.

Players AND Coaches generally care far more about other things before they care about who the QB is.

Just like how everyone thought that Rex Ryan was going to the Falcons because of the QB, or like how everyone thought Wiz was going to Detroit last year because of the QB. Or Decker to the Patriots because of the QB.

Players want to get paid. They can live with the who the QB is. Coaches want to be paid and control. Who the QB is is about 10th on the Free Agents list.

Players simply make more money playing for Miami, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Dallas, or Houston.

You mean I can make more money AND live in Florida? Sign me up!

Does GA still have no state income tax?

I know they didn't when I lived there (long time ago).

And add Tampa to list.

according to this list both TN and GA now have state income taxes.  WA (Seattle) does not.

This is why people on this board hate Andrew Luck.

Yes, it's highly irrational, but he gets all the new toys and it makes me cry like a little baby.

And I am one of the few here that actually like Andrew Luck.

We hate Andrew Luck because people in the media hype him up as the second coming...Suh and Hardy don't give a rat's a&s about about who the Colt's QB is at this point.

Yet the media, in their desire to push Luck, claim that he is factoring into Hardy and Suh's decision, when in reality they probably care more about what kind of property taxes they will have to pay if they chose to live in Indiana.

I see the Cowboys making a play for Hardy. People here will hate me for saying this, but I wouldn't have any problem with them getting him.

Nope no cap room they can't even resign Demarco Murray, they won't be making any splashes this offseason....

I want to see the kind of deal Hardy gets before I get angry at the Panther organization.  The only reason why he should not be back is if his contract does not fit or work well with building the roster.  All the other and any other reasons would be b.s.

I'm hoping this won't be another offseason where we get a bunch of whiny teenage girl tantrums every time the Colts sign a free agent or someone says something positive about Andrew Luck.

I'm realistic about how it works on here though :(

The Panthers used Hardy at defensive tackle several times and he did well there, so he can play on the inside.

I'd agree he's better suited to play a 4-3 end than a 3-4 end (can't see him as a 3-4 OLB) but he could conceivably be effective there.

Never said he couldn't play 3-4 end.

Its just that 3-4 ends don't get the "glory" in the 3-4 defense.  That's for the outside backers.

Ends in a 3-4 are there to do the grunt work.

Georgia has had a state income tax for as long as I can remember and I'm 52 (I remember my Dad doing his state income taxes every year back in the day).
