Chicago shopping Brandon Marshall in a potential trade

In case you missed it, CRA.

Named in 8 domestic violence cases since being drafted is what does him in...

The story is Fox and the new GM just don't want him because of being a problem in the locker room. After I read that, I didn't even waste the energy to post the news (I knew someone would). Between G-man axing 89 and making his comments about "ticking time bombs", I figured why even post. And that's without even knowing about all the domestic abuse stuff. But, in fairness, if ever someone has done his best to improve on that score, it has been Marshall. He has become a spokesman of sorts.

Correction: I knew about some domestic violence issues, just not the number.

It is the same thing....Shula just hasn't been given run blocking OLs. Nor was he given the real one WR that could take advantage of the deep play action

From a playcall selection one could argue Fox often had OCs more Shula than Shula. Even Shula doesn't resort to the 3rd and long draw like Fox often insisted

Well, we did have Ginn, but I will wait to see what happens with an upgrade. Can't get over Shula sending Cotchery on a go-route, and calling a play for Bersin in the red zone.

Uh yeah Marshall is a top 3 receiver in the NFL.

Someone will give a lot for him or pay him a poo load if he's cut.

I do not want to even picture Brady and Marshall.

Top 3? In what world?

If we're spending that kind of money id rather it go to Maclin or Cobb

I don't know, they're looking for more than that and a lot of it guaranteed. Frankly I'm tired of having so much dead money on the books. Marshall is older, granted; but he's a proven commodity and after this season can be cut at any time without any dead money. Depends on the pick too, plus I'm apparently not as high on Cobb as most.

He at least puts out the image that he has grown from past mistakes and made changes including getting diagnosed and treated for being bat poo crazy. He is the exact type of WR that Cam has needed- big strong target that can actually catch. I really wish we would have gotten him from the Dolphins last go round.  Doubt we outbid any other potential suiters. Don't think that is necessarily a bad thing because Gman is probably going to draft 5 all-pros this draft.

0.00% chance. Shut it down.

Couldn't remember exactly what his legal issues were awhile back but googled it.

Brandon Marshall has been named in at least eight separate incidents of violence against women since he was drafted in 2006.

So yeah, 0% chance with us coming off Hardy's year

Yeesh

I'm always amazed at how many people would happily jump at the chance to give up money and draft picks to take on some other team's problem child, and nearly always with little to no concern whatsoever as to why that team is so willing to part with a talented player.

I swear, a used car salesman could make a living off some folks on here.
