Daredevil's "Kingpin"

Talented actor, and I think they've got the look right for the character.

 

Looks like they're going for a "Ninja" vibe with the main character.

D'Onofrio is normally 6'4, 250.

 

He said in an interview that he gained 30 pounds for this role. 

 

So no 'fat suit'.  It's all really him.

Daredevil is legitimately a great character.

 

And done right, the Kingpin is an awesome villain.

Doing a gritty netflix show for the "street level" guys like DD, Cage, Iron Fist was a great idea.  It makes way more sense this way.    Next they need to do a Punisher show as well.

That costume is only the first try at an outfit. And Thomas Jane isn't up to much lately. Dirty Laundry showed what The Punisher could be

It had some campy moments but I'm an Affleck fan so my opinion doesn't count

D'Onofrio looks the park and he has the acting chops to bring the character to life. There's something about his eyes that can go from normal to malevolent in a flash. 

 

My only worry about the show will be that they try too hard to street-level DD and basically tune him down to just a dude in sweats and a mask. Or they decide to make a blind Kick-Ass 2.

Since I'm not the only one who mentioned how bad the Affleck Daredevil movie was, I'm going to disregard your question and assume you didn't watch that travesty. It wouldn't surprise me, judging by how you reacted to a post over a month old.
