Wow. The Steelers are releasing Kiesel.  I knew it has been discussed for the last couple of years, but dude is kind of iconic in The Burgh.

Didn't they do that last year too? I remember a story where he was getting on a plane to head to AZ with the Cardinals and he was saying goodbye to his family at the airport and everyone was crying and he decided right then and there to say fug it and stay with Pittsburgh and accept the lesser offer or something like that. Or it may have been a drug induced dream about the beard. I don't know.

Report: Eagles Re-Sign OLB Brandon Graham To A Four-Year, $26M Deal

Graham will receive a four-year contract worth $26 million that includes $14 million guaranteed.
previously reported that Graham was deciding between the Eagles and Giants.

Graham, 26, played out his five-year, $21.925 million rookie contract, which included $14 million guaranteed. This season, Graham will have made a base salary of $1,670,500.

Over the course of 14 games, Graham has recorded 36 tackles, 5.5 sacks and four forced fumbles for the Eagles. Pro Football Focus has Graham rated as the No. 3 outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense this year, which is due in large part to an impressive rating as a pass-rusher.

That's one of the few contracts I've seen so far that actually looks reasonable.

Some folks here were interested in Graham.

The more I thought about it the more I can't do it. Olsen was the 31st overall pick and we traded a 3rd RD for him (granted that was a bit of a steal). And Gipson was an UDFA. Don't think I could hack off on a 2nd rd this year with the draft as deep as it is. Although maybe that would be exactly why you would want to do it because you will still get value in the later rounds. Good god I'm glad I'm not a GM.

For me, it wouldn't be too difficult.  I am just thinking of all those tasty OTs and receivers (especially) that will be there in the second.  I just couldn't do it.  Depending on how things shake out, there could be Fisher, Ogbuehi (maybe more of a 3), Devin Smith, Breshad Perriman, Nelson Agholor, or who knows who else.  I just would have to press my lips together, shake my head, and move on from the temptation.  The Browns knew what they were doing with that second round tender.  Someone may bite, but I believe it will be too rich for G-man's blood.

Could this be the end of the Steelers long term relationship with Brett Keisel ? Adam Caplan has announced the perennially cap challenged Terrible Towels are saying goodbye to a former seventh round pick who logged 451 snaps for the team last year, finishing the season particularly well with a +6.5 grade in his last two games. Retirement might seem the likeliest option for Keisel at 35 years of age but we wouldn’t be overly surprised if a reunion with Pittsburgh went down at some point in the time in the next 365 days.

it was down to Giants and Eagles in the end reportedly

the Eagles have locked down one of their own in the shape of extremely productive pass rusher, Brandon Graham ... We’ve written a lot about Graham and understandably so, with only playing time limited his production has been incredibly impressive so we’re very excited to see what he can do playing more than 524 snaps. He had the highest pass rushing productivity score (17.7) of all edge rushers in 2014, turning 225 pass rushing attempts into 51 combined sacks, hits and hurries.
