Possible.  Cole was cut so he doesn't have to wait till Tuesday.

Like I said, G-man has his shi--err ship on lock. News will come out at the appointed time.

 

Think of it like Christmas.  Some people like to run in and tear everything open in 5 minutes because they just can't wait. Me, I wait and wait and wait until the point when they're asking me, "Ain't you gonna open your gifts?"  After most have already been surprised and what not, I still have my surprise to come.  I appreciate the anticipation, because once it's over, it's over for another whole year.

confirms reports that the Jaguars are closing in on a deal with Broncos free agent TE Julius Thomas.

 

Interestingly enough, Klis mentions that the Broncos never reached out to discuss a new contract with Thomas this offseason.

 

 

Living here in CO, I can tell you that Elway was pretty adamant all along that Julius Thomas isn't an elite TE and shouldn't be paid like one.  I think most people thought he was bluffing.  Pretty clear now that he wasn't.
