There's a reason why 89 is a fan favorite. He's good, but he brings so much more to the table than just his speed and hands.

Yeah, he didnt have face mask on that, he had FACE! He is part of the reason I am not tripping so hard on the preseason so far. We have had a ton of offensive weapons out, and there really is no reason that our running game wont be in the top 3 of the NFL next season....and that usually = a lot of wins.

smith did have the facemask, but i think it should have been a 5 yard penalty instead of 15

We were pretty inconsistant offensively, and the numbers don't look that great...

But I thought that the o-line had a really good game as far as run blocking. There were a few holes that Goodson didn't hit like Williams or Stewart would have, and likely would have been a huge gain and possibly a TD

Not knocking Goodson, but he does still have things to learn.. because our o-line did a great job getting push tonight.

First game where Jake looked good and he also had Smitty and Moose. Both looked to be shaking off some rust, and their timing should improve quickly.
