went on a date today

I went through a pretty bad breakup in December. I was pretty devastated because I thought it was going to work out long term maybe even with marriage. 

 

I've been dating around since then but nothing was even remotely close to what I was looking for. A few days ago I worked up the courage to ask a girl on a date that I thought was out of my league. We had a great date. I'm on cloud 9. 

 

I needed to tell someone this and who is better than a panel of internet strangers.

Congrats though...the biggest step after the breakup is just going on another date, and realizing there are plenty of great girls out there/your life isn't over.

Awesome, congratz. I still haven't worked up the nerve after getting out of a 7 year long relationship. With work and it's night schedule. I feel like I don't even have time for it. At this point it's been so long I forgot what dating was even like. Lol
