Bell was being reactionary to losing his job.  After he tests the market where no one will likely sign him, he will be happy to come back to Carolina, and the coaches will likely have him back at or near the vet minimum.

 

As for Hardy, "it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings," and Voth ain't a fat lady.

Yeah, but underwhelming moves are Gettleman's modus operandi so far.  Sure I would like to see a splash, but in order to keep myself grounded, I expect the barely discernible ripples.

 

I'd think that Nicks would inject plenty of excitement into the fan base, especially on a relative basis.
