The thread is just about being worried about the W or L. That was the single point being made.

I'm guilty of targeting the thread to those in the chat room that were blowing my mind, not being clear about that fact and therefore missing those that weren't in the chat room.

If you were in the chat room I spent the whole game disgusted with the execution so getting tagged as a blind homer is hilarious. Kurb even called me "grumpy".

What gets me grumpier are math geniuses.

These are the same people that think Baltimore, Miami, and the Giants WERE showing their cards and WERE playing for real against us. Yep, the Panthers are the only team in the NFL just out there screwing around!

I am not concerned so much with whether we win a preseason game or not. To me, I get concerned when I see little or nor progress over the course of the preseason match ups: is the defense starting to gel, is Jake finding his receivers, are the Olinemen opening holes and are the backs punching through them. Also, I get concerned when I see sloppy technique when it coms to the basics, too (like simple tackling, for instance). As of now I think what I've seen is a mixed bag. There are several bright spots when it comes to individual performances (Goodson, Moore, Connor, etc.), but still plenty of areas that need work, too.

Identify area's that need more work and work on those area's for the season

yup im wrong and the panthers can just snap their fingers and play shut down D. quit being a homer for 30 sec and look around the league. watch how other teams execute. We are proud of Delhomme for NOT throwing a pick and saying he played good after leading our offense to 3 whole points in 3 quarters. Im just waiting for Beason to be back on the field and our D shut out every team we play. especially cuz we have such an easy schedule this year.

We will be ok on offense, but WTH are u basing ur assumption on that we will be fine? ive watched 6 games this weekend and our team was CLEARLY the most disfunctional. no ryhthm, no big plays, one fluke turnover on that interception. No we will not be the worst team in the league. YES we have many defensive problems. but keep telling urself tht we can flip tht switch. whatevr helps u make excuses.

u will get the win as soon as u quote me saying anything about the score of any preseason game. I said we played awful and have been all 3 games now. just quote me saying i care about the outcome and its "Lineman FTW!!"
