Let's talk Kony Ealy

Yeah, I think Ealy may progress a little faster than Hardy and CJ. He had a 1st round grade and I think he started to get where he needed to be at the end of the year. If he can do body work and technique this off season he should be the starter. Alexander is a big unknown too. I wish we could have seen more of him last year. If he keeps buckled down he could give us a solid rotation. I think Alexander is at most gonna just be our 3rd DE though. I won't be surprised if we draft another DE early but I have to wonder about strategy with this financially. We don't want too many important d-line guys all coming up for new contracts at the same time. Maybe gettleman doesn't care though, we might always expect to be drafting solid guys with the occasional stud who we keep.

I don't think you will see Gettleman have a problem spending 30-33mil on the DE position in a fiscal year, however, 40mil or higher? Better be 3 pro bowl DEs

I was really impressed with Ealy and how he progressed both on the field and behind the scenes all season long. Honestly, he should have won a most improved award.

If he can continue that trend I to training camp.... Watch out.

Wasn't there a whisper or two that the coaching staff didn't like his effort or attitude early on? If he's made progress there that's exciting.
