Dwayne Jarrett won't make the 2009 team

IDK why we love USC WRs but its always been a bad idea to have them. Even when they do good they will do bad in the end. Colbert had a good Rookie season to do nothing with the rest of his time. Then we go right back and get another USC WR to prove to us that they are all worthless...... Hell the only good players that came out of USC right now are Kalil and Matt Cassel.

Had a long response here but since the majority of people wont read it I'll leave it at this.......Polamalu, Tatupu and Palmer......yea those guys really suck.......

You guys are looking way too deep into this Jarrett will be dressed on opening day he blocked well and can catch he has great hands,,,,wait and see.

This guy knows what he's talking about, he's Moose reincarnated he's not going to be flashy but he runs crisp routes and catches everything thrown his way, he will play a big role on third downs this year....

Keary Colbert...bust

Matt Leinart...bust

Mike Williams...bust

Dwayne Jarrett...bust

Reggie Bush...bust (?)

Hmm

I'm not so sure you can call Leinart a bust yet. He hasn't really gotten a chance to play with Arizona's 1's for an extended period of time. If and when that happens and he does or doesn't succeed then we can make that call. And Bush, Bush is only a bust if you thought he was going to be an every down back. Being an SC fan I knew Bush would never be more then a change of pace scat back, a factor in the return game and possibly play some slot receiver and while he hasn't done any of that well against the Panthers, he has shown many times he can be this at a very high level. So like I said if you were uneducated enough like the "experts" at ESPN to think he was an every down back then yea but if you think of him as a guy who gives defenses a new look to worry about then no hes not a bust at all imo. And Jarrett theres not enough tape on him to call him a bust yet, the fact of the matter is when he has the ball thrown his way 9 out of 10 times he catches it period, unfortunately for him Carolina does not use 3 WR sets more then several times a game. However it seems as though we've been using them alot this preseason so hopefully that wont change and we will get a chance to see DJ get the ball more and either put the bust talk to rest or become the next Mike Williams. I for one think the kid still has the world to offer this team and used in the right way (redzone and third and medium) could be lethal.
