Paging Lilsmitty09!

Recommended Posts

I would like to go on record to say that I contacted Lilsmitty this past season to make a video from my GoPro footage from Cans:Recycled. And even though he didn't think that was cool enough to post on his social media channels, he did agree to help me out. Then....someone broke into my car and my damn GoPro was in there, so it never happened. Moral of this story....Lilsmitty is not only talented but also very generous. And I am nowhere near as cool and our QB.

I may not be as cool as Cam Newton, but I'd like to think I'm at least on par with Matt Lytle.

Heck, maybe even Jack Trudeau B)

it's been solved

I don't know what that is, but the actual dress in real life is black and blue, here's the actual dress without any sort of lighting in model form as if you were to buy it from a store:

It's not white and gold by any means.  That comes from an optical illusion from people's eyes trying to compensate from the bright contrasting light in the background.  Somehow it's managed to trick people into trying to fill in blanks that aren't actually there.  It's actually nowhere near white and gold.

What I don't get is how people even see this from the original photo (the people seeing black and blue, even though it is black and blue in actuality)

Because it's a pretty clear lavender and brown color as projected through the internet monitor.  If you sample the colors and separate them it comes out to a very light bluish purple and brown.  That's what I saw as soon as I looked at it.  The mind is a weird thing.
