Bring back Trgovac!!!

And you guys crying about the defensive coordinator...how many of you were soo upset that we hired him after Trgo left?

I can remember plenty of people just being happy that Trgo was gone. And as for the title, "Bring back Trgovac," do you think there's a reason he's not a DC for some other team in this league?

Give it a rest.

Pretty sure I've been saying all along that Meeks would not be much different, if he was different at all, from Trgovac. I specifically remember monstercat trying to argue that Brown would start because he's a "Meeks guy" in between having his drool cup changed out. Welp look who was right on both counts.

The wins and losses are what doesn't matter about the pre-season.

The tackling, covering, and ya know actually playing f**kin football does matter.

What they are doing is something, but it barely resembles football.

:iagree::iagree:

I feel you man, I've been fighting that battle for the past three weeks. Knowing is half the battle!

LMAO @ all of you morons who are upset over pre-season games.

We're playing without Beason, Jonathan Stewart, Godfrey, DeAngelo Williams.

We'll have Beason, Stewart and Williams on opening day. That's a completely different team.

STFU, please! Pre-season games do not mean anything, nor do you know what Meeks has planned. OK, Jake may have said we did a little game-planning this game, but by no means does that mean our play calling is going to be similar to what it will be in the regular season. Fox doesn't like to show his hand, we're not going to see anything spectacular in the pre-season. It's all about the repetitions and the snaps here.

So act like you have a pair, quit 'yer bitchin and rub some dirt in it.

Stewart and Williams wouldn't have added much. Running game was fine. Godfrey isn't that good and is part of the problem in the secondary. We do need Beason and Davis back though.

LOL @ you thinking you're right after 3 weeks of PRE-SEASON play.

And you can try and tell me they gameplanned tonight, but Jake said they did "some" gameplanning. They didn't study the Raven's offense for hours, and they didn't run anything that we haven't seen all pre-season long. Why should they? To satisfy SmootsDaddy? I'm sure they'll get right on that, buddy.

They're worrying about roster cuts, injured starters, and the Philly game (which I can promise you they've already started working on) while you're worried about tonight.

The players will tell all the reporters that they shouldn't be satisfied with the performance tonight, or there are things they still need to work on. But I can promise you none of them are hanging their heads like some of you guys are. They understand that pre-season is pre-season. We have enough people hurt already, no sense in playing balls out just to try and get someone else hurt.

Honestly, IMO, the problems in the secondary are related to the problems up front.

If you can't get pressure on a quarterback, you can't expect a cornerback, safety or linebacker to be able to cover for 6 or 7 seconds. A secondary's best friend is a strong pass rush.

I agree completely. Unfortunately, our pass rush is pretty terrible.:beatdeadhorse5:
