Panthers interested in bringing back Ted Ginn

There's one pass in particular that I remember that he had beaten his man and was 2-3 yards ahead of him on a fly pattern and he just blatantly flat-out dropped it.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a potential 500 yard play though.

I remember a play when our season was on the line. 4th and 19, and Teddy snags a deep cross for 25.

He will never be confused with an elite WR. But his year here proved he could be productive as a WR. Throw in his return ability. And he is someone that can help us win games.

I thought that was what we were going for? That winning games thing.

"Here's my argument. It's obviously true so I'm not going to support it with facts!"

(you may just have the most inappropriate username on this board)

1. Them being able to find someone better than Ginn is a fact that I don't need to try to prove. He can't catch, he didn't run one thing back when he was in Carolina, and he just fumbled in a playoff game which regardless of what anyone says is one of the reasons he won't be back in Arizona.

2. "ThinkAboutIt"...what does "thinking" have to do with facts? Thinking is more about theories than "facts," so the name is very appropriate. I'm concerned with meaning, not (simpleminded) details.

Cam Newton threw a very badly timed pick six in a playoff game.  By your standard, he should be gone.

He had five touchdowns as a receiver here, more than he's had anywhere else.  He also helped us get 24 first downs and was responsible for more than one big play that was crucial to us winning games.

More to the point, he consistently put us in better field position on punt and kick returns.

And I agree that thinking has very little to do with what you post.

Per Voth Ginn is leaning towards Cleveland. I get that he played at Ohio State, but seems like he'd be committing career suicide by going there. Oh well.

Makes sense.  Family and likely a larger paycheck than we'd offer (things that an older player will give some weight).

I'd love to have him back, but if he chose family, familiarity and finances I could understand.
