Then i suppose we'll have to trust Matsko's judgement about Michael Oher. Could be he's had a couple of off years and at age 28, ready to bounce back.

If I were Cam and they got rid of Bell only to sign Oher as his replacement, I would think long and hard about the team's commitment to giving me the tools I need to excel.  Granted it may only be a stop gap, but this will be his fifth year.  I'd want to see some progress.  

 

Thank goodness there is a lot of off season to go.

Well to be fair Cam had Gross his first 3 years. Year 4 was the only one with Bell at LT.

We've taken cast-offs as of late and made them money. See Ted Ginn and Mike Mitchell. Hopefully, if we sign this big boy, that continues.

The thing is, Oher performed his best under Matsko. There may be something there. Or, he could just want out of Baltimore and needs a fresh start.

All this guy needs is good coaching.

The "knock" as mayock likes to say on Oher is his inconsistency. He lacks technique sometimes and gets beat.

The physical abilities and talent is there. Just gotta tame the beast folks.

Bell played better in the last 6 games when our line was finally solidified with Turner, Norwell and Remmers. I think Oher could be decent at LT with this group and Matsko. It's just a stop gap solution until we find our long term guy so I would be happy with this signing.
