D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died

yup dude just trolling over here. has nothing to do with the fact that i find it ridiculous that we are attacking someone for being mad that the owner of the franchise didn't reach out to him after his mother died, the same guy who hand wrote a letter to a 10 year old asking him to be a fan of his franchise. maybe I'm not trolling and trying to defend a guy who is getting attacked on twitter and on these boards about a topic that has to do with his mother who died from breast cancer.

Do you just ignore the innumerable examples of when he has done something special for a player or fan? Or is this the great sin that negates all other actions?

2. Why bring it up last year while still on the team causing a big distraction?

3. It's February now. He's not on the team. The team can better deal with it by Week 1.

What is so hard to understand about this? No one attended the funeral and Jerry Richardson (the greatest owner in all of sports who always does the morally correct thing like firing his sons and blackmailing charlotte) did not personally reach out to him. He never said no one in the organization reached out, he said Jerry Richardson didn't. Ron Rivera and David Gettleman very well may have reached out to him. If people find it petty that he is upset that the owner of the Carolina Panthers can reach out to a 13 year old fan who is trying to find a team to root for, but cannot reach out to him when his mother dies then I am not sure what else can be said to you. The team is clearly in the wrong.

Well by your opinion how is it the teams fault or anyone other than JRS. You said yourself that he mentioned JR, so what does that have to do with the team, or anyone other than him for that matter.

Honestly I feel like DW needs to just stay away from media, especially social media, until he has had an opportunity to cool down and reflect.

I am the damn poster-child of regret for doing things in the heat of the moment and letting my emotions get to me.

The Internet is a mean, mean black hole of negativity and hatred and he shouldn't expect a bunch of hugs on there right now. It's only going to get worse and then NFL network and espn will show the tweets and the Panthers are going to be shown as ugly and then the teams PR will have to go on the offensive and just...stop.
