Two other CB's worth noting, too: D'Joun Smith/FAU and

Quinten Rollins/Mia-OH. IMO, both will go 2nd/3rd rounds

Really like the Whitner comparison for Landon Collins . He's

best when playing downfield in the box. Coverage needs

work, but man he can hit.

Landon Collins ’ weaknesses from Walterfootball.com : - Can

get burned in man coverage - Lacks versatility to play deep

free safety

Landon Collins is a solid prospect, but is a carbon copy of Mark Barron, not elite in terms of coverageability and range.

Watching some Landon Collins now - the difference between

his instincts in coverage and Clinton-Dix's is night and day

Struggles in coverage and in space. I feel like we need the opposite of that. I want a safety that can play center-field and excel in coverage. He's an upgrade over what we have back there, but maybe won't produce the way we hope as quickly as some other picks at 25 may. As flawed as it may be, with the tacklers we have in our front seven (particularly Luke and Davis) I feel like I undervalue a box/physical safety. Still hoping we actually invest in one of the better corners or safeties in free agency as opposed to drafting one early on.

We need a safety who can cover.
