Collins blazed in the 40 at 4.43

 

Also, this could be a chance for the seemingly light safety class to show some potential. 

 

One guy to keep an eye on is Gerod Holliman.

Wondering how many would prefer to draft a starter and move Benwikere back to nickel as opposed to keeping Benwikere the starter and drafting a nickel.

He didn't run well.  4.64.  But, keep in mind, Norman ran a 4.66 and Bene ran a 4.63.  Could be another guy who we like and end up grabbing in the mid-late rounds because he slips due in large part to a slow 40 time.

I'm fine with either.  We need another CB no matter what.  Colin Jones did an admirable job filling in at nickel, but that's just not his role.  I'd rather see him get a chance to challenge for a starting job at safety this offseason. 

 

I think Bene is ideally suited for nickel, but there's no denying that he more than held his own on the outside as a rookie.  I'd be fine with drafting a guy to start outside opposite Norman or a guy to play at nickel and leave Bene outside.  Either is just fine with me.

I think it'd be easier to duplicate his success at nickel than his success outside. He is for real as a starting outside corner.

Bene played better on the outside than at nickel and nickel cbs are much easier to find.

Depends, if we could find another good press cover we would be in a good situation. Benwikere has the size to play both outside and nickle so it gives us some room to draft either.
