Courtside or luxury box seats?

Has anybody ever done this? I'm kind curious about doing it as a one time thing just for the bucket list experience. I don't know the prices or if it's worth it etc.

I'm sure it's way cheaper than trying it with the Lakers lol.

Never done luxury suites but I've sat behind the scorers table before at a Hornets game and it's fun. You get to go back to the locker room area and get free food and what not, the view is amazing, and the player chatter is hilarious.

When I went we ate at the front court club (same level as the suites) because they had chefs preparing 5* meals before the game then we got snacks (beer, popcorn, etc...) at the back court club.

Overall it's an awesome experience and if you like to be in the action it's a fun thing to do.

My buddy and I went to a Bobcats game vs Celtics one year (we got TRASHED by Celtics) but before the game we were in the nosebleeds with our gear on and some lady came up and asked if we wanted to get comped and sit courtside.  Didn't believe it at first but she took us down there and it was right at half court, first row, in the seats.  We also had all access to the bar thing right there as well.   It was a cool experience being that close to the players and listening to Garnett complain the entire game.

I much prefer sitting down close to the court.

The closest I've been was last season, about 7 rows behind the Knicks bench.

Being able to hear the players on the court and to really see how big they are was amazing. Also seeing the disfunction between Amare and Mike Woodson was hilarious. During timeouts, Amare would just space out and look around at the crowd. I gave him a shoulder shrug one time.

I've only done this with football games. I sat on the first row of the 40 yard line behind Panthers bench for 2003 playoff game against Cowboys. And I've also done the luxury box thing a few times.

Face value of first row seats were about $120 in 2003 but being playoffs and everything I'm sure they were worth  more (as I went with season ticket holder.) To get in a luxury box you either have to be a huge businessperson in charlotte and be able to lease it out for the year or you have to be invited by a bigwig who already has a box. The box experience is more expensive and many would prefer it.

I prefer being right by the action and the real fans. Boxes are like lame cocktail parties while a football game plays on TV. Free beer and food though if you're not the one paying for the box though so thats cool.

A lot of people who sat courtside.. but who can give info about the booth?

Yeah boxes are cool if you can get hooked up with a coporate sponser and don't have to pay anything.

I think they can be a good deal if you have a big group, like 15-20 people, but otherwise I think it's too expensive.
