I think he is smart.  I think he is a helluva QB.  However, I am getting a head start on hating him, so I choose to focus on his character issues. Imagine if you were young and did stuff that you knew was wrong, but were never punished for it?  Instead, everywhere you went, you heard praise. I think he is smart enough to be a BS artist and knows what to say at this point and time. kissing JW's ass is nothing short of honoring Matt Ryan and Drew Brees.  So wipe off those chins and start hating him right now--I see the Winston-Newton rivalry being a big story for years to come.

He step right into the starter's role and led FSU to basically undefeated seasons and a national championship playing in Fisher's complex pro offense.

 

He also got into Stanford, had a 4.0 GPA in High School, and was ACC all academic.

It is because his off the field incidents overshadow his play and grades. Lots of ppl don't know about this

Winston can be a great player in the NFL.  Hell, Peyton would have had character concerns if he came out in the draft today, but luckily there was no TMZ and facebook when he was coming up.  don't underestimate this this.
