Finally got to watch Kenny Bell. Great shimmy off of press, beautiful hitch. Works open for his QB. Separates quickly underneath. Biggest plus is his blocking. He's sticky, consistent & 100% effort. I believe a zone offense may take Kenny Bell in the 3rd, while others look to 4th. Bell has some random drops that are puzzling. His game is similar to Marqise Lee but I don't believe his hands are as inconsistent.

[in reply to: would love him on the Eagles. Always gave 110% as a Huskers]

that can't not be argued against. Love his effort, especially as a blocker.

MassLive.com:

"Bell (AKA "Afro Thunder")..posted a 4.42-second 40-yard dash and a 41.5-inch vertical leap. What the Patriots will like most, though, is his 6.66 second three-cone drill, the fourth-best mark among all players at the combine.

...

Bell's start-stop speed is exceptional. He's effective at driving cornerbacks downfield and then creating separation with his breaks, particularly on comebacks where he can then elude tacklers for extra yardage . Bell's open field skills were also put to good use when Nebraska popped it out to Bell on screen passes in the flat.

...

Where would he fit in New England

... Bell looks to be the perfect fit. He shows great inside-out potential in an offense that asks its receivers to show a variety of looks.

...

Where could the Patriots draft him?

Bell's unlikely to come off the board before the Patriots get to their three picks between No. 96 and No. 101. He'd be a solid value there. It's unlikely that he'd fall to to No. 131 at the end of Round 4."

This thread has made me do more research on Bell. Seems really underrated .

He is. He's gonna be taken in the fourth or fifth round, and stick around on a roster for a long time. Can make plays outside and in the slot, is a willing and effective blocker, has some wiggle after the catch, and finishes plays well. Will stick in the NFL despite size.
