Kansas City Star has Flowers mocked to us for three straight mocks:

Mock 1.0 - Jan 31 - "the kind of talent they need"

Mock 2.0 - Feb 14 - "an upgrade at Cam Newton’s blindside"

Mock 3.0 - Feb 27 - "the Panthers really need a left tackle...[Flowers has] some real talent."

the 5 OL they have going off the board first in their last mock are:

#7 Peat

#18 Scherff

#24 Erving

#25 Flowers

#31 La’El Collins

Good news, they also met which kev too for all the moses comments. I believe stated he didn't care about using visits to "fool/trick" other teams. Do your homework and go form there come 25. That gos for all 200 guys on the panther big board.

If Ereck Flowers is there when we pick 25th in the 1st rd and we don't select him,i will be highly disappointed.

Ereck Flowers and Jaelen Strong are both there, who do you pick?

I'm taking Strong.  I know we need a LT, but I'm not 100% certain that Flowers is an NFL LT and I think Strong is a Dez Bryant clone.

Dez Bryant clone? I doubt that he would go higher in the draft. If he balls out then of course I would be happy with the pick. I think Panthers go OLine or Defense in the first.

Dez went 24th. Wouldn't be surprised to see Strong go in the top 20. The top four WRs in this draft are strong, pun fully intended.

There's no chance strong makes it pass the chiefs @18. That would be like strong being the last meatball on the buffet and andy reid sees it. God himself couldn't stop reid form getting that meatball.

I think flowers starts at RT, with a great chance to become a above average LT in the near future. Any man with very long arms and puts up 37 in the 225 bench, he's working HARD and not lazy. Yes the kick slid looks awful, good thing panthers pick 25 and its fixable by OL coaches. If flowers did every drill great, he'd be a top ten lock. Panthers need some top ten talent to have coach-able flaws otherwise no chance they make to 25.

I want to see picks 1-24 before id say pick _____. On the ranking both are 4th, but id lean towards strong overall. White&cooper are top eight locks, if not top five. Parker should go fast too, within 8-12. Same for strong, he gos right after.

on the post-combine Big Board by Joel Klatt of FOX Sports, he has Flowers as his #13 overall prospect. The OTs:

#13 Ereck Flowers - "I don't see him as a LT in the NFL, as he will likely have to play guard early in his career before a transition to RT. ... once he works on technique in pass protection, he will be a quality RT for a long time."

#16 Cameron Erving - "moved from LT to C last season for the Seminoles. However, he didn't just move, he dominated at both positions as the best blocker in the ACC each of the last two seasons. Oh, by the way, he was originally a DT at FSU, so he likely will succeed regardless of where his next team puts him"

#17 Brandon Scherff - "some serious questions have risen about his ability to play tackle"

#19 La'el Collins - "would fit well at guard, as he is still too raw..on the outside as a pass protector...[he looked] average...he didn't excel anywhere...could have a long career on the right side [but] he [will] likely..never [be a] great player"

#29 Andrus Peat - "has all of the things that you want from an OT at the next level"

#36 D.J. Humphries

#46 Cedric Ogbuehi

#49 TJ Clemmings
