Panthers met with Miami OT Ereck Flowers

This may have been written, but Flowers said he felt the Panthers were impressed with his football IQ after meeting with them.

I think he will be gone, but you never know.

I don't like the OTs in the first round--I would rather wait until about the second (fisher, Ogbuehi, and one guy nobody is talking about--Sambrailo).

Sports Illustrated:

"How quickly he can iron out the inconsistencies in his pass protection will determine the waiting period on Flowers claiming a starting job. ... There will be safer picks in this year's draft and rookie offensive tackles who enter the league with more polish on their games. ...

Pro Comparison: Cordy Glenn, Bills (Round 2, 2012)"
