Who are the best Panthers Defensive Ends All-Time?

Nope, I definitely would too. It's not even real close. All things considered, I think Hardy might be a better DE than Peppers. He's the total package. Peppers never got 15 sacks...and Hardy is as good against the run as he is rushing the passer. Not saying Peppers wasn't good against the run, but I'd probably give Hardy the edge there. And Hardy is 100% hustle all the time. Only reason I don't feel comfortable saying flat out Hardy is better is because Peppers played at a high level for a long time. Hardy is still rising, but unfortunately we may not get to see how good he can become as a Panther over some bs bureaucracy.

Careful there. You'll get flamed for Peppers, Johnson, and Kevin White (lol) hate.

That's Greg Hardy. Only difference is Hardy has the on field mindset we wanted from Pep. I'd really be sad to see the guy go. For whatever reason, to me, it would be Pep 2.0, a huge loss in my eyes. This guy is the althletic freak that JP was but nastier on the field and funnier off the field. Oh well...

Hardy is vocal and a character....yes. But he "disappears" just like Pep. So does CJ. So does any DE that is expected to impact all 16 games.

Peppers is #1, and honestly I think Hardy is better than CJ head-to-head right now.  CJ has had the better career with us, but Hardy has also just now hit his prime.  No telling how good he could've become.  If he played with us longer I think he could've overtaken Pep in my ranking.

Hardy is just as good, if not better, at rushing the passer than CJ, he can drop into coverage and actually be effective, he might've been the best DE vs the run in the league, he was a special teams ace, and could line up and play DT effectively which allowed us to put another end on the field and really turn up the heat.

Just because there might've been games where he didn't get a sack doesn't mean he "disappeared".  Lol Hardy didn't disappear one time in 2013.  He was still getting tons of pressures, QB hits, and shutting down the run even in those sackless games.  He also went up against the team's best pass protector and routinely faced more double teams more than CJ.

Hardy was turning into a beast.  Too bad he's too unpredictable off the field though.

Yeah Peppers accomplished the most but he had some years that were infuriating. Charles Johnson and Mike Rucker are favorites of mine and Greg Hardy was great for this team when he wasn't caught up in a league PR scandal.

Shawn King was one heck of a lineman. He played in the 3-4 for us but drugs ruined his career.
