The other WRs that may hit the market, & Mike Williams

While we are busy fantasizing about Randall Cobb and Jeremy Maclin, and discussing the possibilities of Michael Crabtree, Kenny Britt, Denarius Moore, and even Andre Holmes, the almighty cap will undoubtedly deliver varying degrees of talent and cap possibilities into the free agent WR market, as speculated by Chris Wesseling of NFL.com

Harvin  (who has been recently discussed and )

B-Marsh

V-Jax

Wallace

Bowe

Jennings

Colston (who there was a about)

Personally, I like the idea of Kenny Britt and Denarius Moore much better than any of these options because they will likely be cheaper---possibly even two-fer cheaper.  Plus, these presumably more expensive and accomplished vets are on the downside of their prime years, though arguably may be more likely to get us over the hump immediately.

Although not in this class, or perhaps anyone's class that has already been mentioned here, let me also reference another article by Wesseling that mentions Mike Williams, who is available at this very moment.

Personally I look forward to our very own draftee, who will ostensibly be a WR2 with WR1 potential, but the impending free agents definitely make me think "upgrade".

I'm surprised no ones mentioning Welker. We'd finally have a shifty WR who can make plays and he could probably also return punts and kicks. Probably come real cheap too.

I mean his production absolutley fell off last year. I would hate to see him on a weekly basis, wondering if the next hit is going to be the big one that takes him out the game for good---something that he should have done with his last concussion.

I would rather have Shorts, and I don't really want him due to his injuries, but at least his injuries don't make me think that he is risking his life every time that he touches the ball.

Wes Welker is like a watered down generic dollar tree knock off far less talented version of Steve Smith who has made a living playing exclusively in the slot his entire career with two of the greatest QBs in NFL history.

No thanks.

He'll also be 34 this year, with injury problems.  He's one good hit away from dying.
